I have very little experience with orbitals but I can tell you I prefer DA polishers over it. Easier to use and much more comfortable.

I would go down to your local AutoZone, Advanced etc. and purchase a Griots G9. They are easy to work with and they have a lifetime warranty. Worth every penny.

As far as polishes go it really depends on the level of correction you are trying to achieve. For light scratches my go to is 3D One or Megs M205 and for heavier scratches M105.

Pads: Lake country orange and blue.

Honda paint sucks so a rule I follow is start with the least amount of aggressiveness and work your way up until the defect is gone. (Polish -> Compound -> Wet Sand)

I think you will have a much enjoyable experience with the DA over the orbital (and better results)
