The lug nuts broke in half, the stud is completely fine. It gets worse though. I have brand new white wheels.......... damn shop tightened them too hard. Never letting that happen again... My impact couldn’t take em off so i tried with a breaker bar and they just broke off lol... I’ll take my own Bauer impact driver. Works great, not too tight but not loose. I’ve done my own tire rotations and never had a problem. Anyone saying don’t use a impact, you’re just scared. There’s different amounts of power in impacts. Mine is fine. The shops isnt. I only use Torque wrenches for precise things like building a motor. Anything else, stop being so exact lmao. Well anyway, I’m not sure what to do exactly without messing up the wheels... thinking I’m just gonna have to tape around the lug nut, covering the wheel, then center punch the stud, and start with a small drill bit and work my way up, being careful how deep i go and also not hitting the wheel. Eventually, hopefully, the lug nut should come off when ive drilled the entire stud around it. Then I’ll have to see how to change the studs... i might try to drill the nut instead and save myself from more work replacing the studs.. I will attach pictures. Any comments/ help is welcomed
