Hello,

So I am getting into modding as I’ve had this car for around 6-7 months. I looked up to see what my car could handle and saw KTuner offered a great product. But my question to you guys is how much more power could I make with the KTuner tune on a 2018 Honda Civic LX CVT? Also what are the risks of tuning it?

Thanks,
Drew

We have a dyno sheet on the website that outlines gains for MT. The CVT will have more drive train losses, but the percentage of gains should be the same.

There aren't any risks.

Ok so I just looked at it and I run 91 octane on a regular basis. If I run it with the tune could there be a possibility of blowing my transmission?

You're not adding enough power on the 2.0 NA engine to do so.
Awesome good to know! If I wanted to push more power out though I would have to go to a tuner right?
