The total in your spreadsheet looks a little short -- for the items you list I get $521. Not knowing what's in your toolbox already I'm guessing the "Hand Impact Tool Set" is like the one I bought at Harbor Freight: impact screwdriver to bang out the retainer screws/bolts on the Honda rotor. Ok, I did that on my Acura and it took me a day:Hello, this is my first time changing brake pads and rotors and need to buy all the tools I needed. I made a checklist and can someone help me out if I am missing anything. Thanks!
Soaked everything with penetrating oil
Deformed the head with a big philips
Bought the impact tool at HF
Deformed the cheap china bits
Bought Craftsman #2 and #3 bits
Success on one rotor.
Still had to drill out the screw/bolt on the other wheel.
That retainer is not a philips but a Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) cross-point. Looks like our philips but will give you fits if it's rusted in there. I don't have one but maybe look at a Vessel impact driver (made in Japan).
Good luck!
