For my build, I'm mostly doing some cosmetic changes, and adding home link and some LED lights.

Stage 1: Got the car back from my Window tint installer. 30% tint on the sides, back hatch, and sunroof. Also got the front and rear red H badges installed. The tinting was done locally here in Cincinnati by Eclipse Window Tinting. These guys are awesome!

Mods currently installed:
* 30% Window Tint
* Red H badging, Front, Rear, Wheel Center Caps
* 2017 Honda Accord OEM Homelink module
* FK8 Type R red dash trim
* Diode Dynamics LEDs Interior overhead and glovebox
* OEM Honda Type R Key back
* Red Type R door trim
* Type R floor mats (Minus the badges)
* Supernova LEDs driver door lock hole plug
* Type R LEDs Vanity mirror lights
* CDM 'Turbo' rear glass sticker
* Type R LED Trunk light, turn, reverse, brake lights.
* Carbon fiber plate frame with Mugen bolts
* OEM JDM Clear side markers
* Diode Dynamics amber front side marker lights.
* Diode Dynamics Cool White LED Fog lights
* Custom Dream Automotive Steering wheel
* FK8 airbag
* Custom Stainless steal trim and dead pedal
* Custom Red Pinstripe
* Illuminated Red door sills.

Planned Mods:
* Custom Dream Automotive Perforated leather shift knob

Start of the next phase of mods:
I couldn't resist putting the easy driver's side alu-mite red trim pieces in while I was taking out the overhead console. I also got my key back swapped.

Looking good. Keep it up

Thanks. I'm going to be doing the rest of the dash trim next, then start on the Passenger side door trim. I won't be getting the driver's side or the rest of my LEDs until Monday, but I'll have a full lighting update post sometime next week.

Do you have a link on the red dash trim?

Do you have a link on the red dash trim?
Well.. yes and no. I got them off of the dash vents from a parted out, presumably crashed, Type R (FK8) . The ebay seller was, https://www.ebay.com/usr/taeusedautoparts813?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2754

don't believe they currently have a set with both vents for sale, but you can buy one of each and get the parts that way.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/2018-18-HO...009957?hash=item44319ae165:g:MbYAAOSw~HFcIsjj

https://www.ebay.com/itm/2018-18-HO...710784?hash=item41f6fded80:g:hukAAOSwEvZcIsoo

The sections on the driver's side are very easy to remove and don't require dash disassembly, if you have a pry tool and a small flathead. However, the trim on the right side is hard to remove in general, requiring the whole vent come out, and is so hard to remove from that vent, that I replaced mine with the entire assembly from the donor car.

I found these video's extremely helpful with the process. The easiest way to get that right side vent out, is to remove the radio and HVAC controls and just set them down on the console.

I also managed to get mine in the rest of the way this morning. This is what it looks like, essentially the same as a type R (FK8) dash now. I also installed an LED in the glovebox while I had it all apart. The process really is as easy as these videos make it look, as long as you're patient and gentle.

Today has been very productive. I started off by putting in my painted door key hole plug from Supernova LEDs. I also got my floor mats installed, finished the interior trim conversion by getting the door cards modified, installed the vanity mirror lights, and put my CDM Turbo sticker on the back.

Finally took care of getting the rear LED lights installed and the new Clear front markers with amber LEDs. The Reflectors are OEM Honda parts.
