Such a Myth - I experienced torque steer in my nearly stock, 140hp, 2 door 1995 Acura Integra LS back in the day. I didn't even know that torque steer was even a known thing with a name back then, but I knew there was a direct correlation between the gas pedal and the steering wheel tugging on my grip!
So you call my statement a myth, then proceed to tell a story that supplies direct antecdotal evidence to confirm my statement. You must be seeking office.

Do we know what the offset is on the Type R TC race cars?
I spoke with Forgestar and asked about the F14 they supply to HPD for the Civic Type R TC race car. It is a 18 x 9.5 +55. They will make a set for $490 per wheel. You choose the color.

I am thinking a 265/40R18 tire would work nicely.

Just thought to chime in to say I have greatly enjoyed my BC Forged RZ05 wheels. Custom built to 18x9 +60, 10,000lb forged, and built in a timely fashion. I was pretty wary going in as I've previously only ever had BBS wheels on my vehicles, but I am hugely impressed thus far.

That's a great spec but kinda pricey for cast (flow formed) wheels. Forged titan 7s are essentially the same price.

++++1 for BC Forged. Currently have them on 2 cars (on the CTR the RZ05s are 19x10 et55 and weigh just over 20lbs on my scale) and they are really high quality. I have also owned/own HREs and Signature wheels and the BCs are very comparable at a much lower price.

As for Forgestars, I have had terrible experience with them, bending wheels on 2 different sets of CF5s (for a Boss 302 and then a Focus RS). I have never bent a wheel on any other car ever so it is really weird that both sets of them bent. Also, the finishing in them is sub par to say the least. You get what you pay for I guess.

Keep in mind those TC cars have different suspension setups.

This is good info though, I was trying to find the exact wheel spec for the Forgestars a while back. Offset was the only thing eluding me.

Thread revival 😂. Anyone test the +58 apex ec-7 yet? BF discount going on now. I think about $320 or so per wheel.
