Hey Everyone,

I recently purchased some Volks TE37SL 18x9.5 +45 with 265/45/18 Hankook RS4s.
I'm running about 1.5 degrees of camber in the front with the Eibach Pro Kit, and found out they were rubbing on both the outside and in the side.

I folded the tab on the outside fender liner, and that solved that issue. But I'm rubbing on the inside strut fairly regularly.

Has anyone run into this before?
I thought this was a pretty conservative set up, but I'm assuming that the tires are just too wide?

I'm trying to avoid getting spacers since I was planning on tracking, but any suggestions would be appreciated!

maybe you should have went 265/35s.
45s are too tall. i have no issues on my x9.5 +45 with 265/35s at -1.8 camber in the front.

As said above it's the 45 profile tires that are causing the rubbing. 265/35 is the tested size for most if not all so the advice would be to sell the current set, and buy the correct size. 265/40 may clear but can't verify

Your sidewall is +38%, and diameter is a good +0.6" more.

40 widewall will give you the closest to stock overall diameter.

So I went and got the 265/35 tires, and unfortunately they're still rubbing pretty significantly.... any other suggestions?

your rubbing on a 265/35 with a 45 offset wheel?
i have the 18x9.5 +45 saga lowered in swift springs w/ -1.8 deg front camber and have PLENTY of clearance. I've never rubbed both on the outside and the inside with this set up.

friend runs a 18x9.5 +44 with a 265/35/18 R888R which run pretty wide and have plenty of clearance too.

Still rubbing? and you're running more neg camber than stock?
I'm running about 1.5 degrees of camber in the front, which is just what I got from being lowered....

Yeah, i'm rubbing when the wheels are pointed straight on medium to large bumps. As soon as I turn, I rub on every single bump.... I was rubbing on the inside previously, so I assume I'm still rubbing on the inside here.

I'm just lowered on the Eibach Pro Kit...
