yeah something is not adding up here

OP, you sure your wheels have 45 et?
yeah something is not adding up here. You should have zero problems with a 265/35 on a 18x9.5 +45 set up ...
Yeah, i'm rubbing when the wheels are pointed straight on medium to large bumps. As soon as I turn, I rub on every single bump.... I was rubbing on the inside previously, so I assume I'm still rubbing on the inside here.

I'm just lowered on the Eibach Pro Kit...
that is definitely not normal. I also had the same set up with the pro kits before i changed to swifts ..

is something maybe .... bent? idk.
I'd snap some pics of the clearance on my car but my cars currently at the body shop :(

Your sidewall is +38%, and diameter is a good +0.6" more.

40 widewall will give you the closest to stock overall diameter.

Why are you using 245/35 as OEM sizing?

Reading this has me a little worried. I have some Enkei TS-5 18 x 9.5 +45et rims on order. I can't decide on brand of tire just yet but I was leaning towards 265/35 size. It seems the general consensus is that this setup should not create any problems. Curious to know what is causing OP to be running into issues.

You'll be fine. OP's situation is not normal. There are hundreds of people running that exact setup issue free.

I echo the sentiments above. Something doesnt seem right.

The list of possible issues would be

1. Your wheels are not actually +45 offset - possible
2. Your springs are dropping you lower for some reason? - probably not - most springs drop an inch
3. Your tire is running wider than a typical 265, which isnt uncommon - possible depending on the tire
4. You have more negative camber than you think- even then, it shouldnt be rubbing
5. Youre mistaking rubbing for something else - are you sure youre rubbing?

I'm betting on this. I'd like to see pics of the inner tire to see rub marks.

I'll try and run through this list:

1. I'll try and check tomorrow.
2. This will be hard to check, but probably not the issue.
3. I just measured and they're definitely 265s.
4. I just got it aligned by a reputable shop and they confirmed 1.5 degrees.
5. I'll have a couple car friends drive it and confirm it, and also try and take some pics after I put in more miles with the tires.

me pics after I put in more miles with the tires.
You don't need to put on miles if its rubbing the strut. You're going to see marks on that inner tire immediately.

Oh Sh!t
I accidentally used 245/35/20 instead of 245/30/20

Well...in any case, OP ended up going with 265/35/18.
Wider, but overall diameter is still 0.5" less (25.8" vs 25.3")

I’m on 255/40 on swift with zero problems minus slight rub in front which will be gone when I fold front tab
Do you have any camber adjustments? I just bought some eibach pro kit springs but can't decide if I should put them on or not. I really don't want to have to roll and pull the fenders. What front tabs are you talking about?

I'm running this setup with ZERO rubbing
Volk CE28SL
18x9.5 +35
Eibach Sportline Springs (lowers more than the pro-kit)
265/35/18 Yokohama Advan Apex
SPC Rear Camber Kit
-1.5/-2.5 Rear
Front fender tab bent, rear fenders are unmodified

What brand and model of 265/35/18 tires did you purchase OP
