18 fk8 engine whining noise at idle .

18 fk8 3400miles making engine whining/Ooing noise at idle. Just came on . Any one having same noise? Thanks in advance.

Maybe check and see if Fan/Heat/Ac is on and making the noise..Let us know what you find out.

Every thing off no check light or anything either. Just weird and annoying. I am gonna take it to dealer on Saturday.

I brought my car to dealer.spent 30mins with technician to test drive to find out where is the noise come from. From technician said the noise from water pump n tensioner.now waiting for parts to replace.

After water pump replaced,the noise i found is gone but come with other new "noise"......then i believe is the parts(water pump+tensioner) make noise n not harm/defective.so now i just live with the noise.

I think that i have same noise but i heard with 30.000 miles. Maybe next week i come to honda to check this. Thanks.
