you will get many answers from different people. Personally on this car i would prefer a lightweight 17.

I think 18s look better than 17s on this car and if you look hard enough and spend enough Im sure you can find a set lighter than the stock 17s but I think Im sticking with 17s because its cheaper/easier to find 17s I like that are still lighter than the stockers

I think 18s look a bit large at stock height, But in mainly worries about bending a $280 stock wheel on our crappy streets. The ride on my 18s is pretty good.

If you're more concerned about ride quality, get 17's - you can't beat thicker sidewalls.

If you want wider tires, you may be limited to 18s since there's less selection of wide tires at smaller sizes.

Lowering won't make a difference as to which tires/wheels you get.

going from factory 17" to 18" i notice no difference in ride quality. i went with 225/45/18
the gap isnt that big compare to the 17s

Do you have any before/after pics of the same angle? Does that 1/4" really make that big of a difference visually? Stock was 215/50/17 right?

My rule is always +1 except for Crossovers where I want to go +2 with my Murano (20").

Besides you have to consider the cost of the tires too.

dude I've got the same color civic and I've always wanted black rims. Yours looks clean! I've got tinted windows and thinking about dipping the chrome front grill to black to really give it that ghosting look. Please share more pics if you've got them.

if you aren't baller enough for 22" dubz then i guess 17" enkei or Konig are the only real options.

DUBZ tho. DONK that civic first tho. raised and tires with a whistle exhaust and boat horn is my current build plan.
