I was putting in lowering springs last week, and ripped the inner boot that protects my cv joint. (It’s a automatic)
I can’t find the boot, so I bought the whole axle instead. I couldn’t find one to fit the hatchback body anywhere. Car ID said the ho-8546 would fit my trim. Even though it only says sedan and coupe. Can anyone verify this for me please?
Also if anyone can link me to a DIY guide to replacing the CV axle.
Much thanks!!

I installed lowering springs. So that voids my suspension warranty correct?
Haven't you read similar post of other users boots ripping after spring install? Sometimes they may give you a break it's worth a try. Just take it in if you're under warranty. Just say you were under you car and you noticed some oil on the boot.
