I think we're going to see a swing back from 'badass and audatious' to compromise and more tame. I love they swung for the fences and made this thing look like it does. Wish they would keep along that path but every reviewer on the planet making a big boo hoo because too many fins for their taste sure got tiresome and I guess it gained some traction in the design department.

Glad we have the crazy looking one lol

Will see what develops but that looks pretty mild imo

As seen from the profile, the bulkiness of the front end and the amount of bumper overhang are reminiscent of the current Accord. Too bad front ends have to look bloated on modern front-engined cars due to Euro pedestrian safety laws. I miss the old classic tidy front ends and that slight natural rake in the beltline from Hondas of yore.

I don't see any more overhang than the FK8, it's an optical illusion created by the camo. I see a little BMW style hump at the front grille but otherwise the same overall shape and overhang. I guess the people who applied the camo vinyl took the piss and also made it look like it has BMW nostrils. Who knows, the car may not even have a hump there - it may be a disguise/fake which is part of the camo.

The proportions look damn near identical to the FK8 that I'd even question if this is an 11th gen civic or just a face lifted 10th gen. The side windows not slanting down towards the front may well be an illusion created by masking the bottom of the windows with camo.
