Honda suggested Retail: MSRP * $23,900
What the dealer pays: Invoice * $22,201
Dealer kick back from Honda: HOLDBACK $676

Your target price should be $21k - $21.5k + Tax Title
MSRP on the 17 Si sedan I'm looking at is $24,775 including destination fee and the dealer said they would take $1500 off, so it would be $23,275 plus TTL I'm not sure on the target pricing you posted.

any dealership that doesn't have you pay the destination fee ends up eating that money. i've never been to a dealership or bought a car where they didn't make the customer pay the destination fee. in fact, if you go build a car on a manufacturer's website and look at the build summary, it will tell you the destination fee as well. whether the msrp includes that fee or not, it's very likely that the dealer will have you pay it anyway, otherwise, that delivery cost gets consumed by the profit, which could typically be an $800-$1000 loss, to which they would try to charge you that much more to make up for that loss, which then will also be attempted to negotiated out by the customer.
I'm not asking a dealer to eat the destination charge. That would never happen. For nearly every manufacturer, it's included in the MSRP price. Including Honda. This scheme is common in the N. Virginia area w/all manufacturers. They'll say MSRP is $20k. We're giving you a $4k discount off MSRP to $16k. PLUS $850 for destination. However the Destination fee is included in MSRP. Yet they add it in again. It's horse hockey. It's not done everywhere. It shouldn't be done anywhere.

Has anyone hit that target price yet? I've had EX-T manual price quotes in that range.

I'm very curious of this as well. I haven't seen an Si at that MSRP price yet either.

I paid 20100 + TT for a New EX-T automatic sedan fresh off the truck in June. The Si is only $600 more and 21k should be very achievable but not when they first launch. Next year at this time? Yes.. Right now be lucky for anything below m s r p

I'm looking for an EX-T in St Louis but would prefer adding Honda Sensing. Would a price around $21000 in Indiana be possible? Could you share your dealer info?
Thanks

From the people who have bought one is it worth a $450 car payment for 5 years? lol I come from an EX-t and will trade it in being updside down. The Si fixes every complaint I have with the ex-t whilist keeping everything I love about the car. Is it worth it? There is a Black Si coupe local to me for 24,775... I absolutely love it.

How upside down would you be? Have you had an appraisal?

My best advice is to call and talk to the new car sales manager only. It will save you alot of time. Call every dealer you would consider to buy from.

14k from a ford dealer. 2016 EX-t coupe with almost 23k miles. (yes I drive a lot) Truly the calculations I have figured it out to be around 470/month for 72 months.
I swear I don't work for them, but take it to Carmax. 30 minutes most of your time. Take their offer to the Honda dealer. IF they don't match then go back to Carmax and sell. I bet it will be higher than $14K. Curious, you own a Honda, you want another Honda but took it to a Ford dealer for trade in or sale? How did that come about?

BTW are you doing "new math" like the kids these days? $470X72=$33840. With that payment and term, wait 6 months and you could be in a Type R.
