It's all about offset and tire width on fitment. I'm on 18x9 +35 wrapped in 255/35/18. Dropped in swift springs. Had to push the fender tab up so it wouldn't rub, didn't cut bump stops. Stretching a smaller tire like a 235 on a wide rim wouldn't rub in most cases it the offset is right. Stock rims are +50 I believe. Wider the rim the higher the offset. Go look at a aggresive wheel fitment thread and that will give you a good idea.
