I found some nearly brand new Eagle F1's for $400 and then came across these Niche rims at a local distributor/reseller. One of them was a little scraped around the edge from shipping, but they sold the entire set of 4 as "scratch and dent"!

Alas, more snow coming our way, so I have to use what I'll call "poor man's Photoshop" for now ;-) They aren't actually this bright looking. They have a grayish tint to the machined face.

I run 18x9 +35 on 255/40 at stock height. Needless to say I do rub, but not as often as one would think. That being said, if I bought 255/35, I might've ran safely with no rubs. I just got the 255s cause I wanted to try them out and they were cheap. Used, decent life left (like 30k miles) Bridgestone RE760 Sports for 1 Benjamin Franklin

Love the white and bronze look. Where to you get that FC3 sticker?

Finally got some pics of my summer "paws". Glad the last snowstorm went around us ;-)
Overall, I like 'em. They fit inside the wheel well a little TOO well. Does anyone know if you can put spacers just on the rear wheels? Or does it have to be all the way around? View attachment 144017 View attachment 144017

Looks good!!! I like how it fills up the wheel wells.
Do you have a lot of space on the inside? I have 18x8.5 +45 wheels running 245/40. I do want to try 255/40/18, but i'm afraid it
might rub on the spring perch or something else. I think the width being .5" less and 10mm more offset will prevent the 255's from rubbing on the fender tabs or wheelwell. (I'm running stock suspension as well, with no plans of lowering the car.)

I recently switched my tire setup. I'm running on swift springs (1.2in drop) and sold my Re30s. However, I kept the tires and ran them on my OEM wheels. Meaning 255/40 on 18x8 +50 while lowered and no rubs whatsoever. That being said, I didn't have a car full with passengers. But just letting you know. Right now I'm running 18x9.5 +45 on 265/35

You should be good with a conservative drop (Eibach). Worst case you need to bend the tab on the front fender. If its still not enough clearance you can get -1 camber with with guide pin removal. Speaking only on width, i run 255/40/17 its slightly tucked front and rear with 17x9+40 lowered on D2's. Stock height should be no problem with the setup you want.

Just an update I'm lowered on D2 springs now on 18x9.5 38mm 235/40 18. No rubbing at all on bumps or anything.

Did not realize my profile was set-up that way (I am new on here) I will see if I cannot fix that, but in the mean time here are the images for you...
