Thanks! Glad the guide is useful. My vote for a sticky thread, but should probably be moved to the exterior forum.
Thanks for posting this, btw.
depending on what bulb it is, they make silicon colored covers to tint them check into that maybe easyIs there any way to replace the subtle light in the storage area under the head unit without ripping things apart? Would like to replace that with a green instead of the blue...
I thought it was a dim white light to start with?Is there any way to replace the subtle light in the storage area under the head unit without ripping things apart? Would like to replace that with a green instead of the blue...
Yes. Correct. Same as T10.I believe the reverse backup lights in sedan are 921, same as nearly every other car. I just replaced mine with LED.
The socket is the same, but in incandescent 921 are higher wattage and burn brighter. Accordingly, 921 labeled LEDs typically are much brighter (even though the wattage is in a different range than incandescent) using larger number of higher output LED chips than T10/194 labeled LEDs. T10/194 labeled LEDs are going to be really dim in a reverse socket.Yes. Correct. Same as T10.
