I have an lx sports hatch. Any model below an EX in the US do not have that rubber mat in the center console. I am planning to order an OEM one in the future, so I hope it has something there.

2017 EXT I've got design #3 on my rubber matt. If you have the rubber matt there is a little tab way in the back that allows pulling the matt out for cleaning.

Yep. If you take the sliding tray, cupholders, and divider out, you can take the rubber mat out (should be a small tab I think). Flip it over and it's one of 3 or 4 designs.

This was shown to me by the dealer. So yes it's there in the console compartment.

Here's mine. It was full of dust actually. Does anyone know how to remove that little rectangular piece ? I can take out the center cup holders, but im not sure how to remove that little sliding rectangle. Just going to wash everything with water. Lots of dust in there.

its spring loaded, so you can just push it to one of the sides and it should compress enough to release it
