Grrrrr! Nice cold night. Everything was coming together except my 60ft time. The car is definitely making more power. Still working on how to lay it down in that first 60ft. It's been a little difficult but I'll get it. The trap speed is looking good though. Time to change my sig again.

Just posting this for fun from Facebook. This is from a buddy of mine that has a 2017 Mustang (Beautiful car inside and out). We raced 4x times on 11/1 at the track. He has an aftermarket intake and exhaust. Stock it makes 435hp. This is all in good fun.

Even though the 2nd slip you see shows the Mustang running quicker and faster, since I had a better reaction time, I won the race (Since I physically crossed the finish line first). The slip needs to be enlarged to see this. NEVER give up hope. :headbang:;)

Love this thread. There are so many different variables that go into drag racing that are overlooked. Things such as different mods, track prep etc. Seeing all of these posts surely does help one get into the right ball park of what to expect.

Some of you are going pretty damn fast too!!

Wow, didn't know that. If the is too good for F1, it can't that bad for the rest of us. I'm thinking of trading in my manual Civic for a CVT Fit so the rest of the family can drive it (I'm the only manual driver in the fam). But I don't want a shitbox that's dull and without personality. Maybe I can jazz it up (wheels/tires, sway bar, window-weld rmm, gold wrap intake, etc) and make it a little more fun. We'll see how it goes. It may happen as soon as this week. If not, next couple of years.

I did a lot of testing with intake, exhausts, etc and had my CVT Fit running quicker than most of the turbocharged/supercharged or nitroused Fits over there. My fastest time should be in my sig there (15.2@92mph or something like that). Also see Honda Fit 1/4 mile times at the Dragtimes site. I posted it there too. Had custom made lightweight pulley, Deltacams (That I couldn't take advantage of due to CVT), etc. I had the opportunity to work with Ktuner on the new platform (then) to help develop tunes for it.

I miss my old Fit. I'm still holding on to my old wheels in case they come out with a new 1.0ltr turbocharged version in the future. Good luck!

Was he running on slicks? It's hard enough chasing PRL's time on street tires and ethanol. So this guy runs a whole 2nd quicker on street tires and ethanol?

Thanks, I'll check out your posts. Was yours a GE or GK? I don't think Ktuner/Hondata supports the last two generations. :(

GK! 3rd Generation. He later went on to support the 2nd and I believe the first generation as well.

Believe this is the Black Si out of Kansas City, posted a video of this run awhile ago here.
Seen him run a few times at Heartland Park, the car is usually on slicks & has full drag wheels with skinnies in the rear. Always on a trailer.
