I watched that run yesterday, did you ever see either of the green coupes or the CTR run? Yours was the only 10th get I saw that actually hit the track but I wasn't watching 100% of the time.
How did my car sound (?), if you could even hear it over the din of that EF coupe next to me!?

Don't remember hearing it honestly. I wish I would've gotten my car ready sooner, was back to bone stock for a long road trip with the family, wheels and all, and forgot about ifo until 2 days before and just didn't have the time to get done.

I'll be heading back out to the track Friday evening for open test & tune.
Stay tuned, and thanks to those who pointed out my idiosy!
Any results from yesterday?

I made three runs last night. Sorry to report that all three were almost identical, 15.8 et @ 91.5 mph.
If the car would boost off the line, it'd do better. It feels like the turbo is super laggy! Once it hits, she gets with the program pretty well though.
Gonna do some investigating into why there is that strange lag from a dead stop to wot.
Footnote: I know turbos have some lag, but it seems excessive for such a small turbo charger.

It's "artificial" lag really, ecu is causing that (or are you flashed now). You could try the "myxal two step"... He's the only guy I know of that's ran a 13.xx on the cvt although I think that was w/o playing with the throttle. Maybe others have but I haven't seen it.

It was without playing with the throttle. I actually think you suggested I'd just hit the gas like normal. It worked great on my Honda Fit. Doing the Myxal Two-Step on this car actually caused it to redline (Yeah...in a CVT) and I'd have to let off and hit the gas again to make it 'shift' like a normal CVT. After it happened 3X, I never did it again. Just mash the gas! ;-) Thanks for the suggestion. BTW: The redline'ing only happens if I do the Myxal Two-step from a dead stop.

No issues with lag though. I outlined in another thread how I thought the guys could resolve any lag from a dead stop. I got push-back and just posted my 60ft times, never saying anything on it again. :D And this is on street tires, that broke traction only a tad bit from a dead stop.

Don't be sorry bro. Thanks for posting up your times. This is all a learning process and is very informative. We all can learn from each other by sharing our experiences.

I need to learn how to get this car moving on the 60 like PRL.

14.2 @ 101.8mph

2017 Civic Si sedan
PRL "Stage 1" intake
KTuner (my mapping)
Stock all seasons @ 34psi
93 octane

236hp / 280tq on my dyno

Cecil County Dragway, Rising Sun, MD

The car needs a clutch, evidently too. Noticed some pretty major slip on the drive home.

While randomly revisiting this thread, I stumbled across your time slip, which for some odd reason, I hadn't seen before. I just found it amazing, how both our time slips, and power, were nearly identical. My E85 VitTuned Hatch Sport dyno'd at 237 HP (might make a little more with hood open)

What was in the other lane? That's an 11 sec car ...

Just curious.

Honestly don't even remember. It was pretty much all muscle cars, so if I had to guess, it was probably a Mustang or Camaro.

Either way, once you learn to get that 60' down, you'll be deep in the 13's, which is pretty crazy for a mildly modified 1.5L 4 cylinder.

Best I could ever do with my open diff'd Civic so far was 2.18 but I was just on all seasons. They are 245s though and pretty sticky for all seasons. ZERO wheel spin at the line though, any time id try anything more aggressive I'd add at least a couple tenths to that. But we make about the same power so you should get a sub 14 run easily.

I'm positive had I given it 5-10 % more throttle, while holding the two step, I would have dropped to 2.2, or lower. Sucks that I didn't get a chance to test it that night, as my last run was my best, when I finally decided to try more throttle. What's crazy is, dropping the tire pressure, and fully defeating traction control, seems to improve times even more. One guy in an Si sedan hit a 2.0 60ft.
