Yes sir! I have not raced at all this year due to my 'mishap'. I have a few things I'm looking forward to testing out. Minor things but potentially effective. Will see!
I haven't raced this year either due to me not having anything to race lol. CRV is SLOW and so is everything else I currently drive.

Since there are no open drag strips in my country, I made two pulls on the Autobahn using the Dragy performance box. Too bad the tracks were not 100% flat.

First pull was in D (no wheelspin)

Second one was in S (short wheelspin)

Tires:
Vredestein Quatrac 5 (all-season tires)

As a complete rookie with no experience 1/4 racing, I have two questions:

1. how much do you think the soft steering I had to made did influence the time?

2. Why are the two pulls marked as valid in Dragy, but there was obviously a slope.

Nice. I only did slightly better FBO custom tuned on 93. Left lane, bouncing off the rev limiter in 4th for the last 30 or so feet of track.

Nice! I need advice on how to come out of the hole better. I am running 255/40/18 PS4’s. Do I need to air down? I am installing the Perrin motor mount insert today because the wheel hop was brutal! Plan to try again this Friday.

I slip the clutch at a 4500 rpm setting. This was on 255/35/18 RE71's at 25 PSI.
As far as the wheelhop, first time on the track with stock wheels, tires and RMM the car hopped so bad I was sure something was going to break. 27Won RMM solved all the wheelhop issues for me.

I’ve been in a CTR with that mount and it’s too much NVH for my liking. Hopping the Perrin inserts are best of both worlds. I can’t rev above 3,500 I’ll have to go into ktuner settings. So when you slip the clutch, do you fully accelerate in 1st or use partial throttle until you shift ?

I partial throttle but.... when the boost comes in it still wants to break traction. I've tried short shifting first, but then I just end up running out of gear and have had to grab 5th with horrible results.
With the new Hondata fuel pump, and boosting up the rev limiter a couple hundred RPM's I'm ?that gives me enough to make it down without running out of gear. We'll see. I only go like once a year to see if the car is actually getting faster or not. I prefer track days and AutoX to the drag strip.

The best time we ran on our Type R was a 12.68. Mods were; FBO with a custom tune on Hondata. I was also running Hoosier DR2 drag radial tires. Going to go back next season aiming for sub 12.50. Here are the two best slips :) Number 481.

seeing these FBO trap speeds make me think my car is running pretty good on this ktuner basemap! I was thinking FBO CTR’s are 115-117 mph. Need to get my 60’ down regardless.

with the slicks on my MPH was lower than with street tires! On my street tires the best i ran was a 13.0 @116 MPH. But again my 60' would be at best a 2.2 :) The tires and the write air pressure in the tires make a world of a difference

That’s more like it ! What do you recommend I drop my pressure to? Also should I raise my 2 step factory limit from 3,500?

The amount you drop your pressure to depends on the tires, if you are running the drag radial tires, I would drop it to around 13-16 PSI, adjusting according to how much slip and wheel hop you are getting. However for street tires no less than 25 PSI or you risk debeading the tires from the wheel itself.

By 2step factory limit do you just mean the rev limit itself? Or are you actually performing anti-lag? If so dont perform anti-lag anymore until you build at least your bottom end. However, if you mean just the rev limit itself, I suggest you raise it to about 4500 and you will see better results. However, this is only true if you get better tires, the ps4s is a great daily tire (I have them as well) but for drag racing they arent sticky enough, so raising the rev limit with those tires will most likely just end with more wheel hop, and wheel hop breaks transmissions :O
Let me know if you have any other questions :)

Yeah the rev limit I mean. And I do have the ps4 tires in 255/40/18. Hopefully going back this Friday with the Perrin insert installed. Thanks

you should notice less wheel hop and a better 60' with your Perrin motor mount insert :) Try lowering the tire pressure and keep me posted! Good luck :)
