Just picked up a used Type R that got out of a lease with 49k miles. Glad to see it will last. Using it as a daily too

As I am still under 34K on my '18, glad to hear it is holding up well. May you enjoy many more miles with both of those legends.

Picked up my '19 used with ~8k about a year ago, barely at ~16k now. Good to know that this'll last forever!

How much did you spend for it if you don't mind me asking?

38k sadly, markup is crazy in California (Wish I knew about this website before I went to dealership). I wouldn't recommend it, but I just love the car so much. I'm keeping it till wheels fall off.
I’m in Cali too and picking one up from Chicago area. 2018, white, 26k for $38.5. All stock and one owner. These things are not gonna drop in price.

2 of the 5 Hondas I’ve had had AC issues, so that’s not surprising to hear. But Honda engines are Honda engines. They don’t die unless you kill them.
Any issue with transmission? Such as gear grind or lock out?

Holy hell. If you add on $3-4k on wheels/tires, that’s what my 2019 holdover cost new with 8 miles on it. Market is f’d. Sorry guys.

I got the first in my state and my dealer actually followed through with their promise of only charging sticker, so got mine for 35.9 or whatever it was back then. Warms my heart to see people actually paying more for these used than I paid for mine with 5 miles straight off the truck. I love this car and really appreciate that others love them too.

When it was new I experienced lockout once, maybe twice (annoyingly the time I recall I was roll racing an Elise in Mexico). First/second shift I occasionally have the gear issue but I honestly don’t know if it’s me or the car. Doesn’t feel like I’m doing anything different but it could just be me getting lazy.

@NOTACAT 100k tuned at all?
Very light tune. Unfortunately I couldn’t find any experienced Hondata tuners near me, but I got it on a dyno with an experienced gm tuner after the cat delete and we did a safe tune making about 340hp 360 torque.
