My civic touring 19 just near to hit 100k kms and while she is stationary shifts jerky and vibration while stationary so I went for cvt fluid change i did it as I'm a service tech so i changed one tiny filter below air box and did a flush one time and secondly I filled it when I filled it...
1st time doing an ATF drain&fill on my 2017 1.5T CVT w/50k:
After letting drain the ATF for about 2 days... I got 5 quarts! .
Should I fill the CVT back with the 5 Qts I got out or the 3.9 Qts listed as "capacity" in the owner's manual?
thx
After you’ve drained your CVT fluid and put more fluid in. When you go to check the level by removing the check bolt, is there a specific temperature the transmission should be at? It seems that most people run their cars through the “gears”, but don’t use a scan tool to verify the temperature.
Oil change Tools:
17 mm wrench
Flat tip screwdriver
Cross tip screwdriver
Not going to go over things like jacks, Jack stands, oil filter wrench, drain pan,oil and oil filter, because those are known items etc....
Remove the aluminium pan under the car, covering engine. There are 6 each 1/4...
