My ECU is only partially supported, so it doesn't have "on the fly map switching". I want to ask, can I switch levels on the software itself and upload it instead?

Hey guys. I’ve seen this topic posted a few times w some answers but couldn’t find specific help. I need my ECU software version on the ECU but can’t find it. Where exactly is it? Will I need to take my whole intake off (it sits flush w the left side of the ECU)? Thanks.
