I just recently purchased the Hikari Ultra LED for my low beams for my 2017 sedan. I live in the Pacific Northwest so rain and fog are 4-6 months of the year here, so I found that using a LED fog light with a lower color range (~3000-4000 K) is preferred since its better for rainy/low visibility...
If I have HIDs for my headlights (low beam) , is it recommended that my fog lights and high beams are also HIDs or can they be LEDs and look normal? I'm a noob lmao
Hey guys I saw in one photo of the type R and it look like not only is the fog light that is LED but the housing looks different too. Almost looks like it's a projector instead of a reflector. Can anyone verify this? Would be a nice swap into a non type R.
Hokay, so... Been attempting to swap all my halogen/incandescent lights for LEDs, and I'm starting to grow grey hairs trying to buy everything correctly.
For the most part, I've found the manual specifies some of the bulbs but not all of them, and certainly not all of the pertinent information...
The Civic RS models in Thailand and Australia have LED foglights. (Housings made for LED not just a cheap bulb)
I found a vendor selling them for
$450. USD
Incase anyone was interested.
