I have Civic VTI 2011 model. LCD panel that shows time and radio details gets dim during day. this happened all of a sudden. i believe there is some sensor on dashboard to detect light etc to manage LCD brightness....is it so?how i can fix this issue?

It would be great if Honda offered more customization options to the all-screen speedometer. I think it’s such a low hanging fruit. But the only design variations I am aware of are the blue vs red scheme (EX vs sport touring). Has anyone looked into (or had any success with) modding this screen?

I really wish I had gotten the EX model, but oh well too late now. Can I at least get rid of this crappy LCD screen and switch to a touchscreen someway? Touchscreens should be standard on all models by now :(

Started my car this morning and noticed the Touch screen display didn't turn on. Tried touching the screen and (Power) button, nothing. Restarted the car multiple time, nothing. I can't even change radio station on my wheel control. Anyone had any success with this issue?
