  1. Overfilling gas tank?

Today I was at a pump that when the gas was full it didn’t pop the handle out so I assumed it wasn’t full and kept filling manually. Did I cause harm by overfilling the gas?
  2. 94 Octane Gas

Hey Guys, So I filled my 2018 Si for the first time yesterday, I put in 94 octane. The station also offfered 91 but I opted to go with the 94 instead. Did I make the right choice? Any advice on which premium gas I should run in my Si? Always happy to hear your responses, -Daniel
  3. "Coasting" with '18 Civic - seems to slow itself down

Hi there, new to the forum. I just bought a brand new 2018 Civic EX and am noticing something I didn't notice when test driving. At lower speeds (~10-15mph) after giving it a boost of gas and taking my foot off the pedal, rather than the car rolling off the momentum of that for a while, it...
  4. 2017 Honda Civic Gas Mileage Gauge Issue

So my girlfriend has a 2017 Honda Civic that she's been having issues with. She'll put in gas, gets it to about 100 miles, she drives less than 5 miles to work, goes to work, then when she gets in her car and turns it on, the amount of miles she has drastically decreases to about 33 miles left...
  5. Loud popping sound from gas door

I recently purchased a 2017 hatchback about a week ago. Everything seemed fine until I took my car to the dealership to get a free fill up. After that, I noticed that the latch that locks the gas door is very loud when it locks/unlocks. I thought it might have just been me but my sister noticed...
  6. 1.5T Regular v. Midgrade v. Premium Gas Performance

So the 1.5T manual recommends regular unleaded as its default source but have seen posts that boast a boost in performance when using premium. From my experience, using premium boosts the engine response of higher rpm driving even with a resonator delete. Has anyone experimented with using...
  7. 2016 Mazda3 2.2 D vs 2017 Honda Civic 1.5 - my opinion.

I have just traded in my Mazda 3 manual (pre 2017 refresh model) for the new, white Civic hatchback manual. Mazda was diesel, Honda is petrol, here are my findings: Exterior: Of course this will be my subjective opinion, but here goes. Civic looks more aggressive, and seems to be "bigger"...
  8. Civic Fuel Economy Range

Hi civic owners, I have a 2017 civic hatchback lx manual. Put on 3000 kms (1800 miles) on the car and I am getting roughly 500 kms (310 miles) per tank by driving in 50 city 50 hwy and making slow starts off the light. After reading other threads I've realized it seems that everyone is...
  9. +50mpg??? How!?

I've been seeing a bunch of people posting pics of their average MPG and getting +40/50mpg...I average about 29mpg mixed on regular and 33mpg mixed on premium, and I'm constantly trying to get better mileage. Granted I just bought my sport touring hatch a few weeks ago so I'm still in that...
