I met with a dude today who offered to do a cat back with 4 exhaust tips on my sport coupe for $500. I definitely am considering it but my concern is it will actually lower performance to mess with it since its a non-si non turbo. Im obviously new to this so I could be completely wrong...

Id rather spend money on suspension/tires and it sound super backwards but iv seen 2 people say just a res delete on stock exhaust does not produce drone and it sounds nice in videos. If stock is 1-10 the res delete is like 2.5-10 in the lower revs, past 3500 the turbo takes over sound wise one...

I just installed my skunk2 exhaust and I am now hearing a very loud rattle coming from the rear, mainly in the rpm range where there’s drone so around 4k. The rattle doesn’t seem to be coming from the exhaust itself but actually the taillights. Has anyone else expiernced this? Maybe new hangers?
