So usually after a car wash my cameras of course need a little love to get back to a clear usable image. Well I've noticed over the last couple times I've washed the car that it went fro a few hours to now a few a days and the camera remains foggy and sadly not really usable from a reverse...
So I made a post about 2 years ago after going through two backup cameras that were both covered under the factory warranty. As expected, the issue is happening again however I have managed to delay it by keeping it clean and with rain-x and a microfiber cloth. The warranty for the cameras has...
Hello,
I recently replaced the factory radio in my civic lx with the sony -xav-ax-100 and I cannot get the backup camera to show up. It just says no video signal, has anyone done something similar that can help me? And i was wondering if its possible to have it automatically go to the camera...
hey guys
I have the new 2019, and just like the title says I’m wondering if there’s any way to change the angle on the rear camera so it shows less bumper in any of its 3 pictures?
Thanks!
Hey Guys
Just rolled off the Lot in my new 2019 Civic Sport and was wondering about the potential for upgrades on issues I’ve found so far, so if I could get any help it would be greatly appreciated!
1- upgrade Back up Camera (or at least angle it better where the bumper doesn’t take half the...
Hello Forum,
I live in Germany and just got my Honda Civic 1.0 Hatchback 2018 model yesterday. I got the trim level without the Reverse Parking Camera so thought I would install one myself.
To do so, I ordered the "BOSCAM K2 Wireless Backup Camera kit" from Amazon which will be delivered at...
I have a 2016 Honda Civic lx automatic that I’ve been leasing for 185/mo. Negotiated price was $18,156; .001 money factor; 12,800 residual value. Lease expires February 2019.
I want the same or better deal for a new basic 2018 Honda Civic lx. Only additional features I am considering are...
Does anyone know if there is a way to display the rear camera view without being in reverse? Perhaps like how you can activate the right-side camera by pushing the button on the turn signal lever without actually engaging the right turn signal?
And, I realize this is a long shot, is there a way...
Anyone figured out how to hack the rear-view camera so the feed can be somehow recorded? I saw some of the threads with the pin-out which seems to have the video output but don't know if anyone might have an easier way.
Hello everyone,
Does someone know how to re-aim the multipurpose camera that is on the windshield and the radar sensor located at the bumper civic 2016?
So my passenger side mirror was hit so I went to replace it and the dealer quoted the parts and install around $380! So I did want any smart person does bargin hunted for oem part found them for just under $205 and installed it myself with the help of these forums... but now it's giving me some...
I got the 2016 civic barely a month ago and my rear view camera as stopped working. Its just a black screen with the yellow guidelines still there. I saw another user had the same problem so he rebooted his center console but mine isn't the touch screen like his so it won't do that.
Heres a picture
Does anyone know if it's possible to program the camera so it opens up on a specific view? By default, it opens in the fish-eye view as it is the first view. However, I'm wondering if I can set it so it opens on the 2nd view. Has anyone done this yet, or know if it's possible? Thank you.
I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing this, but my backup camera on the new 2016 Civic constantly gets dirty, making it nearly useless. If it rained at all the thing's lens gets completely covered in muck. It seems to me like the layout and how far it sticks out or the angle is just poorly...
I'm new here, just got my EX-T a few weeks ago. I have noticed my civic's camera (lane and backup) to occasionally have a long delay. It seems intermittent, 95% of the time the image comes up instantly, but once in a while it comes on with a black screen, and then the image comes on many seconds...
