aftermarket fog lights

So my passenger side, yellow fog light went out. I ordered a new pair off Amazon. Went a cheap route on these as I don't mind having to spend a few minutes to replace them here and there, for now. But I accidentally ordered red fog lights. I live in California, I'm pretty sure they're illegal...

Has anyone bought/installed any aftermarket/ebay foglight kits? the entire assembly.. my car didn't have factory foglights at all. they're half the price of the OEM's and I'm seriously considering it but a little afraid I'll end up with junk.. Sorry if there's already a discussion on this, I...
