Hi All
I am starting to not buy the rodent thing. Seems this issue is way more common than I thought. I think the original wiring is slightly too short and gets pulled around over time.
I had it happen about 2 years ago. I took it to the dealer because I figured it was either from accident...
Just had the same thing on a '17 Sport. I have seen a lot of people with this issue. I am just glad it was an easy fix. I ordered the part online and it was about a 5 minute job.
Honda never takes responsibility for these kinds of things any more (outside of warranty, anyway). Seems the good...
Unfortunately, I do not. Jumped the gun assuming the problem was something worse and that it would have been covered under warranty. Curious why this wire and not others...
I would also have thought that if a rodent got it, it would have been overnight and happened immediately upon start up. I...
Hi All
I was on a trip this weekend and at around 75 mph, my Turbo went out. I have seen other similar posts. On the (2017) Civic Sport dash, besides the turbo going out, I had a check engine light, and the steering, brake system and traction control lights were on as well.
I pulled over and...
Hi All
I figured I'd post in case it's of value to anyone. I bike a lot and have a 12v air compressor. I got tired of running it to the front of the car. I remembered my Element had 12v power in the rear, as does my wife's Odyssey.
I have amps installed below my hatch floor, so I decided to...
I would assume so but you should be able to just go to any of those parts places and look at the diagrams for the four-door EX and above, or whatever has tweeters from the factory.
Funny enough, it was my Kenwood that was all muffled sounding with the OEM mic. I had major issues with the Kenwood and sent it back and got the Pioneer. When I installed the deck, that's when I swapped out the mic.
I went through this the first time and although it worked, everyone said it was pretty muffled sounding. Perhaps I did something wrong.
I ended up removing the original mic from the overhead tray, and put the Pioneer one in there. My fix isn't pretty but it's all hidden and works fantastic.
I...
When you have the radio out, if the harness is long enough, try to route it over toward the glove box. I did this and I can now get to my ASWC-1 through a small gap just to the left side when I open the glove box. I figured if I ever need to update or replace it, I can easily pull it through...
It is page 19 to 21 in the attached instructions. Read it over a few times and become familiar with the process before you try it. I called 1-800-253-TECH when I did mine and they walked me right through manual programming, but later I had to do it for a friend and it worked just fine.
Yes. And I thought it was Crutchfield support that told me how. Try the support number on the documentation that came with it.
Did you upgrade the firmware? I had it working first with a Kenwood and now with a Pioneer. 2018 Sport Hatch.
I should have thought to reply before now.
I called the dealer, told them what happened, and they set up an appointment to have it replaced. They ordered the part and I went in on a Saturday morning.
My annoyance was that what is a 3-minute job ended up taking an hour and 45 minutes because...
In case it helps anyone, I found out that the skid plate has to be removed to change the oil and clearly my dealer left the two front screws out.
From a video online, here is how it should look. Arrow points out the screw(s) that they didn't put back on.
Hi All
I have seen the other threads regarding skid plate, but I have a question that I am hoping someone with a hatchback can answer.
My aluminum skid plate caught on something and I am trying to figure out getting it back together...body shop quoted $432 to replace it. After looking at it, I...
You can just use a hole saw to cut the factory panels. Measure them very well...as the door panel overlaps the sail panel. I got my 2017 Sport before parts were available, so I installed them this way until I could get the parts. I feel like they sound better with a bit of angle toward you, but...
