It is page 19 to 21 in the attached instructions. Read it over a few times and become familiar with the process before you try it. I called 1-800-253-TECH when I did mine and they walked me right through manual programming, but later I had to do it for a friend and it worked just fine.

to be clear, you do have to do the manual steps. It will not automatically find it. The manual steps are a bit of a pain, but you can get it to work.
