Wow that looks pretty sweet!
I got pretty lucky, the car audio shop did an exchange for me a month after having it. So there was minimal damage to my wallet as a result :D
I'd like to post an update on my experience with the FiX86. After using it a while I've found that the sound quality isn't what I was hoping for. Louder volumes sound distorted and overall it doesn't compare to what I used to get out of my old Pioneer deck. I'm having it swapped out today for...
I see. I know the feeling too well. Whatever you decide keep us posted. I'd probably ask them for some sort of guarantee that it will fix your problem otherwise provide a full refund.

Sorry I should have specified in the initial post that I had my local audio shop build the box for me. I had them remove the spare tire tools from the side and relocate them in with the spare tire. As far as I can tell they only used wood for this install.
Fsucutter, you are correct that it is...
Hey all, just got a 2017 Civic Hatchback LX and upgraded the stock stereo. Here is a pic of my custom subwoofer install. I thought I would share this since I didn't see many pics in the forum when I was researching upgrades for my own setup.
