Hatchback Sport 6MT here. I have been getting 26-28 in mostly city driving with no Eco and 93 gas. Other threads report a 3-4mpg improvement with Eco, so this seems about right.
Looks great! Have you noticed anything unexpected from going into the A-pillar? I was thinking of road noise or wind noise.
My Civic is at the installer right now for an identical tweeter install among others.
That says more about the quality control of the aftermarket horns than anything else. I have a pair of PIAA horns that claim 115dB ready to install. I'll make a post about it. I hope they are loud!
I have had a 5th gen Civic Sedan DX 5MT, 7th gen Civic Sedan Hybrid, and now a 10th gen Civic Hatchback Sport 6MT. I have owned better cars than Civics, but I keep coming back because I don't really need more than what the Civic offers. Great car.
Ah, that is a possibility. The Sport Touring has a different head unit than the Sport. That would make aftermarket amp integration much easier.
Good luck tracking down a Type R. My dealer said all of Virginia is set to receive 2 of them.
The JL FiX-86 converts speaker outs to line-level outs. This is necessary for our factory head units because they have no line outs, only speaker outs. The speaker outs are already processed and amplified. If you add an amp to that, the sound will be a mess. The FiX-86 undoes the factory unit's...

It was either a low-miles Audi A3, or a hatchback.
A3: expensive to buy and maintain (I came from an Audi A4), no manual transmission. But it was really fast, comfortable, solid, and I have liked Audi styling for decades.
Toyota iM: Weak performance. I like how it looks, and it's cheap.
Mazda...
My favorite is the manual transmission. I had not driven one regularly for years. I love it. I feel more aware of every moment. It takes more concentration, which is rewarding. Runner up: back-up camera.
My least favorite is the tonneau covering for the hatch. Weird. Not terrible.
