  1. Dual mode coilovers?

Hm. Yeah I guess the HFP dampers with some Eibach Pro-Kit springs could be a very nice OEM+ type of setup.
  2. Dual mode coilovers?

So.. anyone know if there's a company out there working on a coilover suspension kit with dual mode dampers, that would function with the sport mode button same as factory? I'm sure it would be expensive, but having the ability to go from a soft comfort ride to maximum attack mode with a push of...
  3. How to Disable Turn-by-Turn?

Is there a way to disable the turn-by-turn direction arrows that pop up in the digital cluster when navigating? Although it looks cool, I find them redundant since I can see the same thing on the main screen, and I would rather have the boost gauge visible. Anyone know how to change this setting?
  4. Safe Maximum WHP

Sure it's not ideal, but it's still plenty of fun. Just because you have a lot of torque available doesn't mean you have to use it all the time. My Si is a daily commuter first and foremost, so during most of my driving I don't need to put down maximum power, but on the highway it's nice being...
  5. Si SPEC Inc. Proprietary Stage 2+ Clutch/Aluminum SMF + More!

Alright, so after lots of trial and error adjusting the clutch rod and pedal position, we seem to have found a decent setting. Catch point is much higher now, very similar to stock. High rpm shifts still feel notchy, but no more lockout. It's about as good as it's gonna get.
  6. Si SPEC Inc. Proprietary Stage 2+ Clutch/Aluminum SMF + More!

I haven't driven mine that hard yet (still in the break-in period) but even half throttle getting up to just over 5k rpm, it locks out. The shop is gonna bleed the clutch tomorrow and then I'm just gonna try to get through the break-in miles before I properly test it. If after 500 miles it still...
  7. Si SPEC Inc. Proprietary Stage 2+ Clutch/Aluminum SMF + More!

Shifts still feel very notchy. And the car still lugs forward slightly when going into first gear with clutch fully pressed down. So, doesn't feel great. It's fine when just cruising along, but that's about it. I gotta say I'm pretty disappointed so far.
  8. Si SPEC Inc. Proprietary Stage 2+ Clutch/Aluminum SMF + More!

Just tried adjusting the clutch pedal. Can't tell if it really did much. The issue definitely hasn't gone away completely. Tomorrow the shop is gonna bleed the clutch and try to adjust the shifter cables to see if that helps.
  9. Si SPEC Inc. Proprietary Stage 2+ Clutch/Aluminum SMF + More!

Delay valve still in place. Not interested in removing it. No adjustments were made. Going back to the shop tomorrow to see what they can do.
  10. Si SPEC Inc. Proprietary Stage 2+ Clutch/Aluminum SMF + More!

I have to ask. How do you drive? If I just cruised around driving normally, I would have never known there was an issue. Have you tried revving out the engine and quickly shifting close to redline?
  11. Si SPEC Inc. Proprietary Stage 2+ Clutch/Aluminum SMF + More!

Well. I got my Stage 2 w/ steel flywheel installed. Everything felt smooth at first. But the catch point was right off the floor, and the shifter felt notchier. I thought it felt good and actually preferred the low catch point. I drove it around just cruising and everything seemed fine. Until I...
  12. Si SPEC Inc. Proprietary Stage 2+ Clutch/Aluminum SMF + More!

I'm gonna go ahead and order the Stage 2 with steel flywheel.
  13. Si SPEC Inc. Proprietary Stage 2+ Clutch/Aluminum SMF + More!

Damn that sucks. Hope you get it installed soon
  14. Need new clutch ASAP, which 1 should I get? Clutchmasters FX300, FX350, or?

I sure as hell expect it to last far longer than 20k. At the very least 50k, driven hard. They stated that extremely wide conservative range to account for absolute worst case scenario. Like people who can barely drive stick and burn their clutch every time they take off, or people running way...
  15. Need new clutch ASAP, which 1 should I get? Clutchmasters FX300, FX350, or?

I haven't heard any other manufacturer make any specific mileage claims. So you don't really know if that's "ridiculous" or not.
  16. Camshaft question

Turbo engines have a different set of effective mods
  17. Si SPEC Inc. Proprietary Stage 2+ Clutch/Aluminum SMF + More!

Would the Stage 2 last longer than the 2+ ?
  18. Rpm on third gear problem

Lol if only it were that cheap
