Hey anyone concern with fuel dilution? Didn't hear about it until someone mentioned it regarding the CRV. Check CivicX and some people are worried. People say color is not a big concern if the oil still protects. However fuel in oil is another story? I will email the service department and...
Our 2017 LX CVT we changed oil at 6,000km as the oil was quite dark and seemed thin. Some people have said dark oil is ok as it still protects. Anyways we are at 10,500km and today I checked and the oil is not light gold color. May be it is like that with these engines. I booked for oil...
Great thanks. We got our LX from Okotoks. Friend of mine said Honda West is good when it comes to used vehicles too. We are looking for a preowned Odyssey.
I am at around 6000 km and when I checked the dipstick it seems a bit black. I will check again tomorrow and might take it in for a change. Peace of mind thing. Free OC at the dealer but I think it's free when the MM light goes on.
Late to the discussion here. Got a 2017 Civic HB LX. Right now we have XIce3 on it. The Kinergy GT reviews on Tire Rack doesn't look great. Will probably look for a set of Premier A/S, Cinturato, or Pure Contact. Whichever has the best deal on when it's time to remove the winters.
The Sports and Touring have Continential tires? The LX has the Hankook Kinergy GT and the rating on these are horrible on Tire Rack. Might keep my eyes open for sale on a better set of all seasons. In Calgary I am hesitant on summer tires as hail storm can pop up and then you are stuck.
Our previous vehicle was a 13 Honda Fit. Seating position was high with big windows and very little blind spot. When I tested the Civic HB I told the salesman my wife would need to drive it as she wasn't there for the first test drive. In comparison for sure the Civic has more blind spots...
I usually don't keep a car for more than 4 years and am on car number 26. With that said we might keep this Civic longer. So now I am deciding if we want extended warranty (cuz of all the electrical stuff and CVT) or Hondata. Both will be about the same price. One extends the warranty, one...
Hi 4doorj, I am on Beyond as well. For the Sports and up they suggest 91. I think any 91 would be fine gas station regardless. I usually go to Shell, Esso, and Coop only. The LX requires regular but some say the higher octane will give small performance difference.
