I have seen periodic posts about this but with other models and I was wondering if anyone else has had this come up ? When I start my car, the airbag light comes on with a warning that says "SRS Airbag". This does not happen all the time though. I'll just drive the car, then next time I start...
I would just keep following up with the dealer although given their inability to solve the issue the first time, it may make sense to go to another, but they have a record in their systems either way. Probably you have a component failing if not multiple.
My condensor went out last June and...
If you are willing to reach out to Honda I would discuss the issue with them and see if they will reimburse it. I am not an attorney but warranty denial
I wasn't joking about the dash being taken apart. With the prices the dealer charges, they are often very mediocre at best. If they struggle...
It wasn't covered under warranty? As time continues probably more and more models will have problems. There was a class action lawsuit several years ago to cover all components not just a few items in the ac. Seems like it is helping a bit. For the longest time it was only the condenser.
Do...
When the car was first new, I never experienced this before and there were several threads about that experience. After several years, it appears that it is a normal occurrence and a slight lag in the way it functions.
I was looking at my old posts and even wrote it down back in 2017...
I have the regular (2.0 NA) Civic but the CVT is jerky and that may be what you are experiencing. The best way to describe it is like a slightly surging or jolting forward. Someone once said it felt like a lurch if someone bumped into the back of your car.
If that describes what you are...
While I don't want to completely stereotype all dealership mechanics, I have had several instances when I have went before where they did not put back basic things like quarter turn inserts for the belly pan to access the oil plug and have left tools inside my car. I once had a large LED...
That makes sense. Well, probably just will keep an eye out on it for now. I noticed the gradual warm air over time and I thought I was imaging things, but eventually it was the condenser that was leaking. Sometimes if it is a basic thing while I am doing service they will not charge a fee to...
Thanks, I was editing this lol and clarifying. I had my condenser replaced last year but the a/c is working right now. Do I need to replace this seal as a preventative measure or just if it stops working again ?
Was looking for a dash cam. First time getting one. Is there a particular one that anyone would suggest or just a cheap common one off Amazon should be fine?
I thought my original pads at 115k was a big leap already but that's pretty wild. The fluid and pads are original by mine is a 2017. The brakes feel like mush so I'm going to have the fluid changed out for the first time next oil change.
I'll have to keep this in mind. I'm in Long Beach but I had to have my condensor replaced. So far it is working, but leery about the rest of the system tbh.
Which honda dealer did you go to in SoCal ?
I thought there was a lawsuit related to the a/c issues because when one item fails it causes a chain for the others to fail as well ?
You know what is funny? I didn't recognize the post that I wrote that post in 2019. I actually still haven't changed my brakes in 2023.
The shop said there is still enough pad left and I mainly do all freeway driving. He did say that you mentioned though that the climate tmis very dry so...
Lol, I have not done this before but I have seen it referred to and was curious. How is this better or different vs, reving in neutral then throwing it in drive ? Or does it largely accomplish the same thing ?
