Itās been a while since Iāve posted but still enjoying driving her every time. Ended up getting some new wheels and tires over the winter season.
Auto-dimming mirror with homelink ordered and should be installed soon!
Finally got these mounted! Loving the way they look against SGP. To confirm, the stock center caps do not fit on the MR146s.
Bonus photoshoot at Costco. ?
Thanks for posting this. I was close to pulling the trigger on the MR924s but think Iāll be happier with 18s in the long run due to the crappy roads in my area. Just called DTD and placed an order for this setup.
Update: Ended up purchasing some all seasons tires + wheels. No longer need this posting. Thanks!
Shooting my shot here in case anyone in the Northern Virginia area is selling a set of these. Motegi MR924s - in either black or gray with all season tires.
Also open to other 18" or 19" wheel +...
Have a ā21 R here with this issue thatās been driving me nuts! Have about 1K miles so far. Just tried wrapping the center speaker wire with some foam but didnāt seem to solve it. The search continues.
Will probably try the glove box next.
Likewise, man. I get sick to my stomach each time I see it but better the wheels than the body, I guess. :dunno: Maybe this will accelerate my switch to 18s haha.
Quick update to this thread. Rock guards arrived and installed! Hopefully this prevents any additional debris buildup for now. Also added a tiny piece of electrical tape to create a barrier for the gap in front of the rear wheels. Will keep you all posted with any updates.
Unfortunately but the holes do serve a purpose to give horizontal adjustability. I have since found a solution (hopefully - fingers crossed). Purchased some fender washers to go between the adjustable holes and the hardware. Hoping this will keep clean going forward. The washers came uncoated...
Well that was short lived. Did quite a bit of driving the last few days in both dry and wet weather and the holes are definitely letting dirt and dust through. Going to see if I can fabricate a solution to hopefully seal them up from dirt and debris.
Appreciate it man! I wish there was an OEM option for the R but figured this was the next best option. Had Rally Armors for my last car but wanted something more subdued this time around.
Selling a Civic hatchback trunk tray that fits the EX/EX-L/Type R models. Note that the side piece has been cut to accommodate the subwoofer but piece will also be provided. It was pretty cleanly cut off so can probably be reattached with glue.
$60 or best offer. Located in the Northern...
Finally got my splash guards installed. Ended up going with Sukeban Designs with the faux carbon fiber overlay. Loving the subtle look so far but think there may be opportunities to trap dirt with the wide cut holes for adjustment. Time will tell.
