Every time I step out of my civic into another car, and then back into the civic again- I appreciate my civic more and more.
Though it definitely needs more speed, getting a tune soon.
I know what you mean i've owned this car for two month now and I can tell you the transmission feels a bit less responsive than when I first bought it. Which in turn affects my power.
Def. feels slower from when I bought it, could be due to the warmer weather though as someone already mentioned.
It does not lock the doors automatically for me. Perhaps because I have an european hatch. Played around in the settings, could not find it there either:/.. Where exactly is it in the settings?
Thank you my man.
Another question, Hondata alone is 700 bucks, hondata + a custom tune from Vit is only 150 more.
For me this base map with +9 PSI seems plenty enough but would a custom tune add something else into the mix that's not already offered? Reliability? Safety? More performance...
I have a 17 Civic hatch, i've never tuned a car before. I was wondering, if I buy Hondata is this as simple as plugging it in and enabling it? Is this a 'base map'? Or do I need to toggle something and play around with the software to get this performance (226hp 255tq)? - Cause I have no...
Hi Kinda unrelated but i will order Ktuner but I was wondering what's best in regard to safety with a tune?
Is it safer to run a basemap or a custom tune?
Hi, I think I saw a similar thread a while back but after searching the forums I could not find it.
Do you know of any neat tricks with the 2017 Civic that the rest of us might not be aware of?
I'll go first
Tap the unlock button twice, then hold it in, unlocks all the doors, rolls down the...
I definately would not. Just the remote start itself is such a great function i'd abandon heated seats for it even.. Especially here in sweden we have cold days 10 months out of the year.
And it's beautiful..
in love with this car right now, I don't know if they revised the model before bringing it out here to Europe (first models became available for us in April) but i'm having none of the infontainment or rattle issues i've read about here by other users. Handling is a dream...
You can't base the civics 0-60 times as its actual speed. I can't find it but there was a great explanatory post somewhere on why the civics 0-60 times doesn't represent its true speed. And besides, with a custom tune for 700 bucks you're up to 200-210 hp at the wheels with a great handling...
