Oh okay, I suspect I need to loosen my hood hinge bolts and move the hood slightly to the side to close the larger gap for the issue I am having.

The knob on the side about halfway up the fender did not help the gap adjustment. I noticed you posted a picture of there being 2 knobs above the radiator on the front of the car. I tried turning these but they do not go up or down. Are they adjustable as well?

Should also pick up a $10 touch up pen in your cars color from the dealership to fix any future rock chips.

For me the ice was built up against the muffler so it would rattle against it when idling.

Be careful when trying this if the exhaust is hot but try to push down on the tip gently and see if It goes away... I had a similar issue from ice build up in that area.
