This is a very good suggestion, it will eliminate plastidip chunks when you spray it specially if you haven't used it in a while.

Yes, exactly. It's really easy, I recommend practicing your spray pattern/distance on something else before you do your emblems.

Don't do it man. Does it cheapen the look? Yes, definitely. If our car needs a side vent, it would have one. Putting a fake one is just a no no and would just make you look like your trying too hard to make your car look like a sports car. Just my two cents. :drive:
