That may just be it. I have a sedan and definitely don't see or feel another grommet in that area. I tried to get my power wire through the hood release grommet, but I don't think 8AWG with a thick insulator is going with the grommet still able to fit in the hole. I'll have to keep working at it...

I'm not finding any other grommets around the hood release cable going to the fender. I guess I'll have to keep digging.

The Honda dealer was HUGE, I'm talking massive inventory. At least 200 Civics. They had a ton of '16s on the lot when '17s have been coming off trucks. The '17s were about 1200 more expensive, and had the deal on a '16 not been so great, I'd have bought a '17 EX-T Coupe with a proper 6 speed.

Black is completely timeless, and with the chrome trim really pops as a high class look. Unfortunately upkeep on black is a totally different beast. You have to really love it to keep it looking nice, and after a while, it will really need some paint correction.
