Thanks, I guess I feel like if there's an issue with all of them, they would have fixed it by now, rendering the update unnecessary. I'll take it in as soon as I can.
I just bought a '16 civic EX-T, mine has the surging tranny also between speeds 45-77, but I just bought it... shouldn't the car already have been updated? The update came out in march. Why am I having this issue
Just wanted to give an update. I received the speedometer and radio from a junk yard in the beginning of January. A couple days after receiving them I got a call from the dealer telling me that I could trade in my practically brand new car and get an EX-T with little deficit and I chose to do...
That is almost exactly how it was with my chrysler. The steps were simple:
I Took out the radio + Took the trim around it off + unclipped the trim from the radio all the way over to the left vent + unscrewed the steering column cover = instrument cluster access + unscrew the couple screws...
If you people aren't going to read the posts then what is the point in participating in the forums. Holy Hell, use your brains before you get set in an argument that only you want to take part in. As I've stated above and on my other thread, I've done this exact swap on a similar car. It was...
It may not be the most cost effective way, and to you guys with the tourings, you don't have to think about it. but it is pretty much the only way. suggesting to someone "you might as well buy a new car" when buying a new car would cost loads of money, in addition to the added loan costs because...
I called a salvage yard in south florida about a 16 civic touring he had up there, could get it for $50 and he would throw in the ignition button and the trim around it... but google search the part number which is: 32117-TBA-B00 i saw it used for $130!
I've priced out pretty much everything you've mentioned on the cheaper Honda part sites, and using car-part.com and came to my price of $300..where did you look at? if this was at all possible I would buy used, salvaged where I can and buy new where I cant. buying everything direct form Honda...
I still have it :agree: ......its way better than this Civic ill tell you that:thumbsup: but I love my cars equally so ill give the same love to both, including my upgrades:patriot:
No one is CRYING for help, however; these forums are mostly FOR help. which you aren't doing... so I see no reason why YOU...are here badgering, with no help to give? Dismissed.
90 bucks for the digital version of the speedometer and keeping it oem with no extra crap was my po
Ewwwww. cant believe you even suggested that. I want the in-dash speedometer, not extra crap laying around lol
"You SHOULD have, ISNT helping the OP. Don't be rude if you have no information to give.
OP I'm in the same boat, buying the higher trim would have been smarter in my position because I want a lot of the stuff on the higher trims, just overlooked it while buying. As for the keyless entry...
The metra wiring harness I bought here, has all the connectors for the back up camera. from that site:
Retains Factory Backup Camera: The Metra 70-1731 wiring harness includes a male composite video jack which allows you to retain your vehicle's factory backup camera.
Optional Steering Wheel...
Trading in my new car thats worth 15k with a 18k loan, buying a new-new car for 21k + 3k rolled in = 24k loan........ ill suck it up and wait a couple/few years till my loan evens out and ill move on to the next vehicle. Thanks for your suggestion though, i'm just not going to waste my money and...
Right now I'm actually trying to decide between the app radio 4 and some other pioneers. Trying to find the best way to drop $300++ on an aftermarket system. It isn't sitting right with me for some reason. The only feature I need is Apple CarPlay and I'll be good to go!
They're both high quality guessing that their pushing one of kenwoods flagship radios on you... In terms of features they should be about equal, but pioneer has a cleaner, more oem look
Yeah, everyone keeps saying to go buy the higher trim levels if you want the better radio. They know that...
Well I can pick up a used one that I'm referring to for less than $250. Right now I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth it audio wise because I like good sound and heard that Honda has permanent eq settings that filter out the low end.
