That would make sense considering how much height is required for that. It's just an interesting option!
It is on both mirrors with the aspherical edges? I'm jelly. I bought a set of aspherical mirrors for my 2011 M3 and love them so much more.
Yeah we don't have the glovebox damper either...
Yeah its weird how regional differences work out.
UK has the crazy panoramic sunroof option, glovebox has a light, parking sensors optional, rear fog lights. Would be interested to see what else is different. Do you get both mirrors with the convex outside edge of the mirror?
Nice!
You gotta document some of the cool stuff us north american guys don't get. Like the headrests or extra blind spot monitoring.
I'm jealous of your rear fog light. :)
I was able to get mine to work on the first try with an Anker USB-A to USB C cable braided cable. The 2pack was $7.99 right before iphone15 launch and now its $11.99.. those deviants on Amazon!
I appreciate it! I'm also a big fan of addressing other parts where labor is shared. I have a higher mileage car than most (just hit 168,xxx miles on my 2017!) so I will most likely address it all at once due to the amount of miles on the items. The parts may be good for now but I won't really...
It looks straight forward on the fronts and no worse than typical MacPherson struts. I appreciate it the note about the bushing. I'm looking at other parts to refresh as well since I'm at 167k. At this time, most likely new top hats, spring pads and now, adding that lower control arm if needed...
I've dived into the rabbit hole of suspension frequencies, damper curves, etc for my M3 so I understood! I appreciate the mention about oscillations across bumps, that is helpful to make my decision. I mainly drive my civic on the freeway and the overpass uneven junction connects always felt...
Thanks! I'm on an EX which I suspect are the same springs. Here in San Francisco, its just as bad and I'm on Si 18s so the experience is the same. I'm reaching 166k miles on the original shocks and been patiently waiting for inventory to creep back up for a refresh. I thought about the B4s may...
oops,
I have a 2017 Civic EX hatchback w/sensing. Mostly run in eco mode for "smoother" roll during traffic.
Mostly highway miles, but a fair share of it is low speed traffic.
162k and counting. Still solid!
You are probably right.
I believe I grabbed the torque specs from this PDF when Torque PDF was not available yet.

Haha, you are probably right. I'm at 154k now.
I've done CVT fluid flushes at 50k, 90k, 130k so far. I just follow the maintenance reminders on the car.
I don't recall seeing any camber plates available for nonCTR.
SPC and Whiteline do make lower ball joint camber corrections.

This is interesting! Going to see if anyone sells the kit soon. My civic rear shocks are developing a slight leak.
Ugh, I forgot you have to fully compress the rear to adjust the damper.. that is 10000000% annoying.
