I searched for a while and couldn't really find any threads talking about what I've noticed (unless I'm blind), but basically, I notice sometimes if I really put the accelerator down, I'll feel an occasional stutter as the RPMs climb. Obviously there's the initial feel of the CVT as it changes...

I'm no industry insider, but I think this is probably a big reason that you're seeing HP numbers increasing across certain segments. With safety standards and everything else being stuffed into cars nowadays, you've gotta have the power there to move 'em.

If they'd offer the Si in hatchback form I'd probably be tempted to make a swap from my EX...as dumb a financial move as that would be. The sedan and coupe just aren't all that exciting to look at, and the added utility of having the hatchback makes it a no-brainer for me.
