No worse than factory...fast dips in the road are the bane of any coilovers existence as far as ride quality. They stiffen very quickly to respond and you feel that. Otherwise the BC valving and spring rate is perfect for daily driving.
It's as simple as removing 2 screws on the front and 2 screws on the rear of the factory side skirts and popping the old one off. It took less than 15 minutes for the entire process
I actually didn't even realize the sports had black trim...definitely going to look into it. It is the sport side skirts and the rear spoiler accessory for the non sport. I have the front lip as well but I'm still trying to get it wrapped in carbon fiber, it's so damn small it doesn't look...
I used 2016 Civic BC coilovers to drop the car. I did not do a muffler delete, mine is an EX so there is no center exit exhaust. The rear diffuser is the Honda accessory rear diffuser for the non sport models that only comes in bright red, I went ahead and wrapped it in 3m Dinoc carbon fiber.
Here is my build...it's purely cosmetic as I daily this car (in the 8months I've owned it I put 22k miles on it), no performance mods. Everything, with the exception of the wheels and coilovers, is a Honda part. Still trying to wrap the front accessory lip in carbon fiber so it is not...
With the factory tire size and a 17x9.25 +36 Offset the stretch is just enough that there is absolutely no rub even on uneven and harsh roads. The BC Coils as they came set up lowered the front about 2 inches and the rear 1.5. I had to max out the rear coils in order to even out the front and...
Grabbed a good photo of it after a good cleaning. I reused the stock tires and wanted to go the cheapest route possible and try to maintain decent ride quality. Believe me, if money was no object it would have the same wheels in 18s.
