It’s always sketchy to speed excessively on public roads....no wonder so many people die from street racing in Cali... you sound pretty damn ignorant and stupid....keep your speed to a track”
Agreed 100%....the Type R is a nice track car that can be street driven but as a daily, the cheap shiny plastic interior, the lack of basic features and options, the cheesy circa 1990 empty switch plates on the dash, the cheesy empty switch plates on the steering wheel, no volume knob, cheap...
Nice photo!
I have to admit, I was looking at a Type R in your colour today. I do drive a Golf R that I truly enjoy but I get bored with toys quickly....loved everything about the Type R....today, seeing it in person I found it to be a lot better than what the photos show...only thing that...
It's amazing what they can do make interior room in cars these days through the modernization of the body structure...thus allowing more cubic volume inside
I sat in a 17 SI last week and it looked so small from the outside but was very spacious (and great seats btw) inside. I didn't think I...
Personally, I can't wait to see the first comparison test between hopefully an STI, Type R, R, and RS.
All 4 are great cars that offer unique features.
Great time to be a hot hatch enthusiast as all of this competition will breed innovations for all brands and all of us regardless of what we...
If they did an AWD Type R (caveat being it would have to have some more features and options than the current one), I would trade my 17 Golf R in a heartbeat....but need the AWD with Winnipeg winters...
Agreed Heavy D...have a 17 Golf R....would have bought the civic Type R if it was out last year....there is no comparison between the beautiful Audi Like interior of the Golf R vs a civic
BUT....as an enthusiast, I respect all brands and competition.
The Type R is a beast and very beautiful...
I never thought I would say this after our previous spats :) but I agree 100% with Pukemon...and it has nothing to do with my R and his GTI...we both have had SI's and for the most part I think you would expect manufacturers to up HP every year like they have been.
The SI does have a lot of...
I think it's actually only about 300 #'s more from the AWD unit....and it does have less lb per hp than a GTI...I do miss the sunroof from my GTI but putting down 300HP all year including 6 months of winter made it worth it.
And in Canada, a loaded GTI is only 3k less than an R....Canada...
