With winter in full swing, I've noticed 2 annoying things about this car:
1) The rear side windows have a propensity to fog up, and no cabin air settings seem to alleviate this.
2) Ice easily builds up between the back window and the trunk since the window dips below. There seems to be no good...
I ordered mine from bernardiparts.com for under $120. Cheapest place I've found for Honda parts/accessories.
Edit: Your costs will probably run a bit higher since the chrome part is cracked as well.
Debating it. Just tougher since I don't have a heated garage, and the temperature is in the single digits right now. Any ideas what additional screws/clips I should purchase in advance just in case something goes wrong if I end up doing it myself?
A new grill is about $180 on Honda website, and with ?2 hours of labor included, I'm guessing $400 total. I've been trying to call my service department for an estimate, but no one ever picks up. Left message and they never called back either. :/
I just want to change out my grill (below), but I want to make sure I understand what I have to do here. I can just use OP's method and take off the clips/bolts securing the grill and top part of the bumper, and the grill should magically slide out. I don't have to deal with all the bolts/clips...
Some jackass took out a small part of my front grill while it was parked in a ramp today. Haven't even had the car for 3 whole weeks yet :(. It looks like the part I need is 71121-TBA-A01 but looking at the diagram, I can't figure out how to remove the old grill.
I'm so pissed. I parked my car in a ramp and came back to see this. A piece of the fender is gone and there's a long crack running along it. Haven't even had the car for 3 weeks yet! Any idea how much this would be in terms of repair...? Or would it be possible to do it myself? What's that...
I was wondering how there were so many people talking about mice chewing their car wires...I guess that's why. Any chance that Honda will issue a recall for this issue haha?
I just tested my Michelin X-Ice Xi3s in the MN snow for the first time today. Never had winter tires till now, and wow do they make a difference. Saw a bunch of AWD SUVs slipping around like crazy, and my Civic just cut through the snow effortlessly. For $680 after rebate with 16" alloy wheels...
First 100 miles averaging 25.1mpg. Haven't brought the engine above 3000 RPM yet and I consider myself as someone who is brake-pedal conscientious. I am living in MN, which probably is factoring into things.
Just took delivery of my 2017 Civic Touring over the weekend. I remembered when I first drove it home on the freeway, I'd feel a slight corrective tug on the steering wheel whenever I was getting too close to a dotted/solid line, just as it should. Other times, LKA doesn't appear to function at...
Just finally had the chance to test my own. My apartment unit is half underground and located on the opposite side from where the parking lot and detached garages are. Standing in my apartment, I'm able to start my car from at least 45 meters away despite the signal having to travel through my...
I'm gonna use Bernardi Parts for wheel locks, cargo tray, side molding, oil filters, etc. Pricing seems to be 20-30% lower than MSRP, and they currently have free shipping for Black Friday week
