The steering wheel shakes and you get a warning in the instrument cluster about lane departure with LKAS on. Not the system's fault the driver isn't paying attention to what they're doing.
First change isn't 3000 miles...it's when the oil life indicator says to do so. I'm at almost 8000 miles and haven't had to change the oil yet, although it's coming up soon since I'm at 20%.
Forgive me if anything here seems really off; I'm honestly not familiar with car audio, but I am with home audio and headphones.
I'm basically looking for quick bang-for-your-buck upgrades for the audio system. My ears tell me that the tweeters and sub are pretty bad, so those are probably the...
I haven't had my car long enough to drive through snow, but I remember having to disable TC on my old Dodge Journey to actually get anywhere in snow. I imagine it's the same deal here.
I really haven't noticed a difference between 87 and 93 in my car. Probably a bit lower gas mileage, but I haven't taken the time to measure as I don't really drive that often.
You should have a sliding tray where you can't see money in the center console. There's also a tray further back (closer to the hinge) that you can't see from the outside, I think.
Sport and Sport Touring are Premium recommended. The car requires 87 at a minimum, but at 91+, you'll get the full 180HP (as opposed to 174HP). Up to you to decide if that's worth it.
The Owner's Manual also recommends filling up with fuel that has Top Tier detergent. BP, Mobil, Exxon, Costco...
Kind of wish I waited for the Si. I like the manual mode in the Sport Touring, but I feel like I'm limited by the CVT.
Although I don't know if I would consider the Si a lower trim.
I haven't had a problem with Android Auto, but my gripe is that I can't select albums to play in Google Play Music using the UI. I have to make a playlist for the specific album and then select that playlist to play.
I don't live in an area with terrible traffic (contrary to other people's beliefs), but ACC is pretty awesome for lots of highway driving. LKAS is pretty good, too. I use both when I'm not in a good driving mood or it's a long car trip.
Yep, it's annoying because I tend to turn the volume up as I drive. Waze ends up being too loud...I'd rather have it be a constant volume as it already lowers the music volume when it needs to announce something.
Is there any way to have separate Waze and overall volumes? I know when you're using Maps you can turn down the volume when the nav voice is speaking, but it seems like Waze is tied to overall volume.
Which features, specifically? ACC can be switched to standard cruise control. LKAS is a toggle. RDMS is turned off by default. I think the Collision mitigation system can be turned off in the Settings menu.
