That happened to me couple of times but thankfully I never set it to launch at startup. But when it gets stuck, i turn my car off on and restart the headunit manually by using the power button.

The google play services is what messed up your system. You should be good without it.

If you keep your bluetooth on it will connect 10x faster than when bluetooth is off. Also google play services tend to slow down the HU. Not recommended to install those, may be all those factors contribute to the fast connection of your phone to the HU. Glad you are happy with your HU as it is.

No way except to change cars or trims ... I have a 2016 EXT and it is blue, sport hatches afaik have red. Also depends on which continent your car is from. In short: No way to change it.

Did you get the smoked tail lights? I was planning on doing that but dont want insurance to give me a hard time cause of smoked tailed lights ! Also, how difficult was the center console illumination ? I have zero experience in that department !

Might sound silly, but worth a try, you can try to reset the HU and see if it works, but sometimes even the silliest things go wrong, like, your phone might already be connected to Hondata while you are trying to pair up.

I use a plastic restorer and it works like a charm every time !

i roll down my windows when the weather is nice just to hear the turbo spool up. But my trans does make some weird noise when i put it in L or S and it goes above 2k rpm.

Sounds normal to me unless you are in L or S mode. Do you have a turbo? Could be the turbo building up ...
