Thanks for the info on the rods!
With that in mind, is it still safe to run the Hondata +6 basemap with Throttle Response Stage 1 and Throttle Sensitivity Stage 1 on a CVT hatchback (with no other mods)?
Thanks bluehatch17!
I guess Hondata just forgot to add (CVT) for sensitivity stage 1 and 2.
Do you know exactly how sensitivity / response are represented on the +6 basemap calibration, like under boost control, torque, etc? Or are those changes hidden?
Hello,
My apologies if this has been answered before. I've tried Google, this forum, and the Hondata forum, but I've not been able to find an answer.
On the CARB version of FlashPro (ver 3.7.5.0), when I open the +6 basemap for the 2019 HB Sport Touring with CVT, I see these choices that I can...
I found this on eBay, which is more of an organizer, but since I use CarPlay almost exclusively, it's worked out pretty well. On the bottom tray I placed a square shaped wireless charger from Anker...
Thanks for the info!
I also saw the post that recommended 6000 RPM, but thought it was a bit high.
Will there be any long term problem to have RPM set to 6000 and MPH set to 200?
Hello,
I've searched the forum and Google several times regarding the subject line but haven't found anything definitive. If it's already discussed/answered, I will greatly appreciate it if you can point me to the right place.
In regard to the value for Speed Limiter RPM and MPH in the CARB...
@ResortCasual, have you tried plug it in after you see the "No Device Connected" message? That seems to make a difference for me (iOS 10.1, Beta 3), at least so far.
This happened to mine too a week after I got the car. Rebooting the head unit (by holding Audio) cleared the alerts.
Hopefully it can be fixed with a firmware update.
Thank you all for your feedback and ideas!
Even though the 'Enable Once' route still works consistently for me, I'm going to try the 10.1 Beta 2 first and see if it makes any difference. If not, I'll then downgrade to 10.0.2 and see how that works.
Will report back.
My apologies if you had already mentioned this somewhere else, but I was wondering what kind of spacer you used between the exhaust tip and the bumper. I've looked around but I'm not sure what kind of spacer can withstand the heat of the exhaust pipe and not transfer it to the bumper or...
I've tried 3rd party cables (Anker) and Apple cables (one old and the other one brand new). Did not make any difference. What's frustrating is that exact same problem using Android Auto with a Nexus 5, running the latest version of Marshmallow.
Another strange thing is the Honda Link app on...
Yep, CarPlay is one of the main reasons I went with the Civic instead of Mazda 3. But it gets very frustrating to reboot the head unit in the morning to go to work, reboot again when need to go somewhere, another reboot when it's time to go home... Pretty much a reboot is needed whenever I...
CarPlay has been a huge disappointment on the 2016 Civic. Same problem goes with Android Auto (with Nexus 5 on Marshmallow).
After trying all options that I could find on the web, I am hoping this workaround will stay working until the disconnect problem is fixed by Apple, Google, and / or...
