I'm waiting for an EXL with sensing and talked to my dealer today, he said they have tried 3 times to place an order and it keeps getting kicked back. He said he had no idea what was going on but the Jan ETA seems highly unlikely...no kidding!

I placed my order mid Nov, 2 weeks later my dealer called to tell me the order was not approved so they were going to try and secure one from another dealership that had my build on order. So far, no word yet...looks like I'm in for a long wait.

I have sat in and test drove both. The HRV is much like the seating height of my current '07 CRV so I really thought that would be what I would go with. I just couldn't get myself to love it. Personally, I love it! I have no desire to own something that looks like everything else on the road. It's sporty, practical and fun to drive. Checked all my boxes! Can't wait for mine to arrive, ordered mid Nov.

Will dealers give you extra keys if asked for? I'd really like two extra fobs if possible, I've heard others that got an extra one, has anyone received more than one additional? Tried to find a recent thread that I could include this in but none seemed on topic.

Agreed, dealers seem to be very uninformed about the products they are selling. That dealer is completely wrong as Honda certainly has announced sensing will be an available option on all trim levels and standard on touring.

I haven't heard anything about my order either. Trying to resist calling the dealer.

I ordered my WOP EXL HB with Sensing mid November and just heard from the dealer they accepted the order and it was processed but no build date yet. I am assuming from what the dealer says 2 mos from this point.

I was told just today that my order was approved but no build date or ETA. I had no idea the order had to be "approved". I assume maybe they meant order was processed.

They were putting in their first order, they were only being allocated two and they let me put my custom order in for one of the two. I have no build date yet, nearly 2 weeks later. Getting a bit anxious!

Nice! I guess Canada was able to order earlier, my dealer called me to come in and order the first day they were able to.
